Today On Your Minute of Marketing:
How to Improve the Click Rate of Your Marketing Emails
Step one to improving the click rate of your emails is clarity. Be clear about exactly what your email is about and then give your target customer one step to take.
Don’t make it a confusing, long, drawn out process. If it’s a promotion, give them one button that they can click to get the coupon or give them a link that goes right to your store with the code already built-in once the page loads. In other words, something real simple for them to act on.
Then, make it urgent. Make it so that when they get the email, they get a one-day promotion. Make it something they have to act on in that moment.
If you’re a service-based business, it’s the same idea. Have them go into your place of business that day or have them make the call that day.
Make it urgent so that people have to act on it when they read the message. If you have a good promotion but your target customer thinks, “I’ll go back to this a little bit later when I have more time,” then you’re probably not going to get that click.
That’s been your minute of marketing.
